This Returns and Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which buyers may return products and the warranty services available for products purchased on zipmalls.in. This policy applies to all products sold through the ZIPMALLS marketplace by sellers. By purchasing from our Marketplace, you agree to comply with this policy.
Return Policy
1.1. Eligibility for Returns:
- Products can be returned within 7 days from the date of delivery. The return window starts from the date the customer receives the product.
- Products must be in new, unused, and resellable condition, with all original packaging, labels, and tags intact.
- Returns are not accepted for products that fall under the non-returnable categories, such as:
- Personalized or customized products
- Perishable goods
- Intimate or sanitary products
- Downloadable software or digital products
- Products with a warranty, where the issue is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
1.2. Condition of Return:
- Products must be in the condition in which they were received by the buyer.
- The return request must be made within 7 days of delivery, and the buyer is required to provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice).
- If a product is returned damaged, opened, or used, it may not be eligible for a return.
1.3. Return Process:
- To initiate a return, buyers must contact ZIPMALLS via the returns section on the website or through our customer support at info@zipmalls.in.
- After receiving the return request, we will guide you on how to return the item to the seller or the designated return center.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the product is defective or the wrong product was delivered.
1.4. Refund Process:
- Once the product is received and inspected, we will notify the buyer about the approval or rejection of the return request.
- If the return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method, or in some cases, as store credit.
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the confirmation of return approval.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or error on the part of the seller or the Marketplace.
1.5. Exceptions to Returns:
Certain products may not be eligible for return, including but not limited to:
- Opened or used electronics (unless defective)
- Undelivered orders that were not collected by the buyer within the allotted time

- All products sold through the Marketplace are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated.
- The length of the warranty varies depending on the product type and the manufacturer.

2.2. Warranty Coverage:
Warranty coverage typically includes:

- Full product replacement (in cases where repairs are not feasible)
- Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period, and proof of purchase is required.
2.3. How to Claim Warranty:
- To claim a warranty, buyers must contact the seller directly, providing details of the defect or issue along with the order number and proof of purchase.
- The seller will provide instructions for how to proceed with the warranty claim.
- If the seller cannot resolve the issue, the buyer can escalate the matter to the ZIPMALLS support team for further assistance.
2.4. Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover:
- Damages caused by misuse, mishandling, or accidents
- Normal wear and tear
- Products with defects resulting from improper installation, unauthorized repairs, or modifications
- Products that have been used outside of normal conditions or for non-intended purposes
- Consumable items like batteries, ink cartridges, etc.
- Warranty is void if the product is used in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
2.5. Warranty for Electronics:
- For electronic products such as mobile phones, laptops, and televisions, the warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
- In case of defects, repairs or replacements will be handled by the authorized service centers of the manufacturer.
- If the product is defective upon delivery, the buyer must notify the seller within 7 days for a replacement or return.
Refunds and Exchanges
3.1. Refund Criteria:
- Refunds are processed only when the return is approved, and the product is in its original, unused, and resellable condition.
- Refunds are typically issued to the original payment method or in the form of store credit, at the discretion of the Marketplace or seller.
- In cases where a refund is denied, the buyer will be notified with the reason for rejection.
3.2. Exchanges:
- For certain products, an exchange option may be available. Buyers can contact the seller or the Marketplace for guidance on exchanges.
- Exchanges are subject to product availability, and the buyer may need to return the original product before receiving the replacement.
Customer Responsibilities
4.1. Proof of Purchase:
- Buyers must provide a valid proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt) to initiate a return or warranty claim.
4.2. Return Shipping:
- If the product is not defective or was mistakenly ordered by the buyer, the return shipping cost will be borne by the buyer.
- For defective or damaged items, the seller or Marketplace will bear the return shipping cost, and the buyer may be offered a prepaid return label.
Seller Responsibilities
5.1. Return Acceptance:
- Sellers are required to accept returns in accordance with the Returns and Warranty Policy for products that meet the return criteria.
5.2. Warranty Fulfillment:
- Sellers must honor the manufacturer’s warranty terms for their products and assist customers with claims in a timely and professional manner.
Dispute Resolution
6.1. Dispute Handling:
- If there is a dispute between the buyer and the seller, the matter should first be discussed between the two parties.
- If the dispute cannot be resolved directly, the buyer may escalate the issue to ZIPMALLS, which will act as a mediator to resolve the situation.
Modifications to the Policy
7.1. Policy Changes:
- ZIPMALLS reserves the right to modify, update, or change the Returns and Warranty Policy at any time.
